The Power of the “Specific Goal”: Why Vague Intentions Fail and Precision Wins
We all want to succeed, but most of us set ourselves up for failure before we even start. We resolve to “get in shape,” “save money,” or “grow the business.” While these intentions are noble, they are functionally useless. They lack the fuel of execution: specificity.

Finally, build accountability by sharing that precise metric with a peer. It is much harder to back out when someone else knows the exact number you are aiming for.
